In the suggestive setting of the Scuderie del Castello in Piazza Mostra, Trento, on Friday, 20th at 6:00 pm, the end-of-year aperitif of the teaching group at the Centro Studi Walter was held, providing a moment for sharing and comparing the positive results obtained in the just-ended year.

Our consultant Eng. Damiano Martorelli, PhD, took part in the event, who held the various courses in Computer Science and Sports Disciplines for the current year.

Coaching was born from the intuitions of Timothy Gallwey who, in his best seller "The Inner Game of tennis", in the early 70s, focused the activities on the inner sphere and on self-knowledge.

A few years later, John Whitmore (a well-known business consultant), was fascinated by Gallwey's work, so much so that he wanted to rework it for the corporate world. In adapting Gallwey's method from the world of sport to that of the company, incredible correspondences and affinities were highlighted.

Thus, starting in the 80s, the first large American multinationals such as Coca-Cola and IBM, based on the original intuitions of Gallwey and Whitmore, began to offer their employees the first "meetings" (sessions) of Coaching.

The next 30th Annual Meeting of EAA, the European Association of Archaeologists, will be held in Rome from 28 to 31 August.

After three decades of existence, the EAA goes to Rome, the "eternal city", aware of the continuous changes in the material (and social) sphere of the City, caused by natural and/or geopolitical events over the centuries. This makes the thought of the evolution of the urban landscape, the change of archaeological layers, and the process of transformation of buildings fascinating.
